A stone throw coffeshops around Cebu.
Looking for a place for coffee on your day off? There are already alot of shops that are sprouting here and there. Check out these shops that is just a stone throw away from each other.
1. Oxford coffee- located at the heart of Talamban, Cebu City. What I like here is that it isn't too crowded. They offer several variety of drinks, from teas; iced or hot teas (others are imported from UK) to non-coffee and good tasting coffee. Milk teas are also available. They even serve affordable pastas ranging from 140php and drinks from 80php- 150php. My favorite from the menu is the Spicy sausage pasta which you can either have it on white or red sauce and paired with refreshing cucumber cooler iced tea but today I had cafe Latte. Baby Beef ribs and spicy chicken wings are newly added from the menu. To top it all, "one to sawa" with their non-interrupted wifi connection. They are open from 0800H to 2300H.
Hurot na! :)
From Talamban, let's go to Banilad in Mandaue City.
2. Bo's coffee- is famed as a local Starbucks competitor. Originated in Cebu and its first shop was in Ayala Mall. Several stores already sprouted all over the Philippines. They use local coffee beans that comes from different parts of the Philippines; Sagada, Mt. Kitanglad, Mt. Apo, Benguet and Mt. Matutum, which makes their coffee fresh and one of a kind. Pastas and breakfast menus are also served. They also have gellatos. Variety of beans ( arabica, robusta, etc. I forgot the other 2) are being used here just like other coffeeshops. My favorite store is in The Space in Banilad because it isn't too crowded and just a few kilometres away from home. They also have 24hours stores like in Capitol Cite while regular stores like in Banilad opens as early as 0700H 'til 0130H the following day. Download their mobile app to avail of the discounts and free coffee on your birthday!

Alright! Above mentioned shops are only those I frequently visit. But you can also check below and visit other shops nearby like:
*Coffee Bean and Teal Leaf- they have an outlet near Oakridge and you might want to try their Morocan Mint green tea plus a very relaxing ambiance and they have internet too but only for those who avail their loyalty card (not sure how they call it). ๐
*Starbucks coffee- well, I guess its the most popular coffee shop all over the globe and I don't want to say anything. ๐๐ Maybe you know better than me and You might even have their planner don't you?
*10th Dove Street- known from its very delectable cakes and pastries and already have an outlet in Island Central mall in Lapu-lapu city. Cheesecake are the best! Order one in for Noche Buena! :)
*The Fudge- is a small shop beside Chinabank in Banilad. Known also for their cakes but they also serve breakfast meals, pastas and salads. Try their choco lava cake paired with cafe americano.
Note: The purpose of this blog is to flaunt myself being a coffee lover ๐though I need to lessen my caffeine intake but not just that, the mentioned shops are should I say a nice place to stay when you are just wanna be alone and is avoiding crowded place. Still coffee is best when paired with your bestfriend! ๐
